Navigation: Fusion of picture data

The basis for clinical navigation is provided by patient’s picture data like CAT scans, MRI and DVT data.
Various picture data, e.g. CAT scans and MRI, may be imported into MATRIX POLAR and merged. This is automatically achieved by the navigation software. Subsequently, the resulting fusion can be manually edited.
The merging of picture data provides highest precision and enhanced safety, especially under difficult indications. This applies as further planning information is supplied for clinical navigation during operations.
